Erich Leland Nelson was born August 22, 1901 and died November 15, 1982. He and his wife, Lori Beatrice Cole are both buried in Cold Spring Cemetery.
Erich Leland had a brother, Frederick Cole and a son, Erich Leland, jr and a grandson, Erich Leland III.
Erich Leland did some minor genealogy on "his" family, starting with John Nelson, born Norfolk, Englad about 1640, thru Stephen Nelson, born March 17, 1770,
thru Morris Warren Nelson, the illegitimate child of Peter Warren & Mary Haight, who Stephen Nelson Married after Morris Warren was born. This of course would make Erich Leland more a Warren than a Nelson.
But the story & history goes on.
As you will see by one of the attached articles, there never was an Erich Leland IV!
