Mekeels Corner Chapel
>
Mekeels Corner Chapel, located at 321 Route 301, Cold Spring, NY, is near the south east corner of Routes 301 and 9. The chapel was built in 1867. Thomas and Susan Mekeel and James Smith donated the land. It was operated as a Methodist chapel until 1949 when the congregation disbanded. In 1961, a group organized to repair and preserve the chapel was formed and to this day continue to maintain the chapel.

Cemetery notes:
To reach the cemetery, walk south, parallel to Route 9, past the Methodist Chapel and proceed about 600 feet along the tree-line and you will see the cemetery to your right and up the hill. Climb over the low stone wall and you will be there.
